Adult services (18 years and above)
Provides health care access for individuals 18 years and above. Nurse practitioner led and appointment based. Patients will be able to access in-person booked appointments with follow-up care provided when considered necessary and appropriate.
Appointments can be booked for the same or next day.
children’s rapid access (six months to 18 years old)
Provides health care access for individuals six months to 18 years old. We understand the urgency of your child’s health needs. We offer rapid access to care providers who specialize in paediatric care.

virtual care (six months and above)
Provides health care access for individuals six months and above. Open after hours and available for those who require timely access to care for urgent, non-life-threatening conditions that can be addressed virtually. Offers care providers who specialize in both adult and paediatric care. Nurse practitioners can prescribe and fax medications and refer for tests, including imaging and bloodwork as required.
Appointments can be booked for the same or next day.

Children six months to 18 years
If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms please proceed to the nearest Emergency Department:
Fever in infants six months and younger
Difficulty breathing
Trouble swallowing
New onset or severe abdominal pain
Severe vomiting and/or blood in vomit
Severe diarrhea and/or blood in stool
Traumatic injuries (e.g. head injury, fractures, lacerations)
Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
Severe/new onset headache
Seizures
Altered level of consciousness, confusion, or behavioural change
If you are unsure of how sick your child is, and unsure if your child needs emergency care, please bring your child to the nearest Emergency Department.
Adults 18+

Chest pain or new abdominal pain
Seizures
Stroke, such as face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulties, dizziness, and headaches
Severe shortness of breath, dizziness/fainting
Internal bleeding
Numbness or weakness in arms or legs
Major trauma
Overdose/poisoning
Pregnancy-related emergencies
Any serious condition that you feel is getting worse
Workplace accident
Other conditions that require emergency care or are life threatening.

Located in Stouffville, our Community Health Clinic provides health care for patients with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions. For applicable cases, this clinic and its services are an alternative to visiting our Emergency Departments to access care.
Health care access is available through adult services, children’s rapid access, and virtual care.
